The "Have Some Fun Tonight" black slouchy tank with metallic foil is the perfect gift for the fashionista.
HAVE SOME FUN TODAY - Want to know how to give the most fabulous gifts for everyone on your list this year? Give the gift of HSFT. We're a brand with soul; a company pushing positivity. Our goal is to change the world with love and HSFT products are designed with that in mind. When you give the gift of HSFT, you're giving the gift of the daily pep talk. What's not to love about that? Have Some Fun Today. It may be simple, but it's the reminder we all need not to take it so seriously. Here are five fabulous gift ideas for every type on your list.
The Fashion Forward Friend
She's exceptionally chic, always on trend and dangerously close to being "impossible to buy for" because of her exquisite taste. She has style for days, but when you find the perfect gift for her, you know it. Enter the black, slouchy Have Some Fun Tonight tank with metallic foil lettering. She'll instantly recognize its versatility as a layering piece, perfect for pairing with high impact glam like her Tom Ford leather motorcycle jacket or classic Chanel tweed blazer. And yeah, she probably is going to Have Some Fun Tonight. You soooooo totally get her. Air kiss... #nailedit
Gift giving in the office doesn't have to be a bore, even if your boss is. Functional and practical is fine as long as it's still fabulous. Quick, write this down.... 3 sure thing "no brainer gifts" for co-workers: The Have Some Fun Today compact travel umbrella, the Crown luggage tag, and the HSFT coffee mug. Because what better place than the office to remind everyone to Have Some Fun Today. #lightenup #hsftoffice
The Woman Who Has Everything
We all have that one name on our list that makes us cringe every year because you never know what to buy the woman who just buys it for herself. Mother-in-laws commonly fall into this category. Not that we're stero-typing, but typically they're detail oriented woman who know which side the salad fork goes on and they wouldn't dare forget to write a thank you note for the thoughtful hostess gift you brought to the last dinner party. Our embossed Crown Stationary Set is the perfect way to honor the woman who has it all. #details #hsftclassandstyle
The Teen/Tween Girl
They're picky. They're overly dramatic and emotional. And they have the answer to everything. Don't default to your usual ITunes or Starbucks gift cards. Treat her like the princess she already thinks she is with our rose gold crown earrings or rose gold crown necklace. She'll scream with delight and tell you it's dope. (That means she likes it.) They're delicate and simple, not like your teeny/tweeny. And the necklace is great for layering. It's also the ideal gift for a princess of any age. #whodoesntloveacrown
The Hipster Brother
He's impossibly cool without even trying and he's offended if you spend too much on his gift or increase your carbon footprint by wrapping it. The Have Some Fun Today embroidered beanie hat is the perfect gift for him that makes it clear he's not trying too hard. And he's all about spreading the message of "living each day and finding some fun". So hell, yeah, he's HSFT! As long as he can take public transportation because he doesn't have a car. Tie some recycled, sustainable twine around it and you might just bring him to tears. HSFT, bro. #hsftforeveryone

HAVE SOME FUN TODAY - In our series "Raising Women", we've put the focus on what it means to parent girls to become amazing women. But we are also celebrating what it means to "Raise Women" in our community, as in lifting them up, acknowledging them, helping them, supporting them, and being an advocate for all women. Today we feature HSFT woman Brittany Decker.
Brittany Decker is the poster girl for Community Involvement. With 3-year-old twins and a teenage son at home, to say she is busy is an understatement. Spend any amount of time with her and you get the feeling that's the way she likes it. She and husband Jonathan both believe in the importance of giving back with their volunteer efforts. "I volunteer to make our community a better place for our children and to help the non-profits that are doing so much to help everyone."
She is currently the vice president of community development for The Junior League of Reading and they have created programs to help empower young girls. One such program is the Young Women's Summit held in the spring in the Reading School District. A four day leadership program aimed at girls between 11-14, they work on issues like self esteem, building confidence and facing the challenges many of the girls deal with at home. Brittany describes it as eye-opening and inspiring. "Some of the things they deal with on a day-to-day basis are horrific. Abusive parents, not having a safe home to live in or not enough food. And they want to learn how to move forward in life and be a better person, even with their circumstances."
Making a Difference
Brittany will be the president of the Reading Junior League in 2018. She also is currently the president of the Leadership Berks Alumni Council, the restaurant committee chair for Opportunity House Souper Bowl event, and event assistant at Habitat for Humanity. Whew! That may be more exhausting than the 3-year-old twins, but she does it all with a megawatt smile and gracious heart while truly living the Have Some Fun Today philosophy.
When it comes to supporting women around her, Brittany believes you "raise them up" by just being there. "I think it means being a great friend and that encompasses being there through the good and bad and reaching out and supporting them in the highs and lows."
We couldn't agree more.

Have Some Fun Today Founder Stephanie Taormina and her bestie and HSFT team member Kristin Golden Mancuso
At HAVE SOME FUN TODAY, we're inspired by women! We love powerful, creative, thoughtful, unique women who follow their hearts and share their vision with those around them. It's the reason we started our "Inspiring Women" series on the blog. It's the reason our founder Stephanie Taormina started the HSFT fashion and lifestyle brand aimed at celebrating women and honoring her late father's lifelong mantra. Our mission at HSFT is to lift women up, share empowerment and passion, and connect women to a community where we celebrate each other. There's beauty and compassion when we honor each other, and ourselves, by sticking together and rising above.
1) Don't Hate - Celebrate!
Empower other women when they have a victory and take it as a win for all women. Yay women! Don't become petty and jealous because another woman's success makes you feel insecure about your own. Let it inspire you and motivate you. We all move forward when a woman succeeds. It's called progress and we need more of it!
2) It's No Contest... We're All Winners
There's no Blue Ribbon Winner or diamond tiara placed on your head for winning the big prize. It's life, not a beauty pageant or a Spelling Bee. Don't compare yourself to everyone woman that walks in the room, or for that matter, into your life. It's way better for all of us when we're all on the same side and not judging each other. Let's not worry about beating each other at the game but rather cheering on our fellow women as they cross the finish line.
3) We Have More in Common Than We Think
We've come a long way, baby! We've only had the right to vote in this country for 95 years. Many of us get paid less money to do the same job as our male counterparts. And all of us at some point have had to overcome at least one stereotype about being a woman. We are all someone's daughter and granddaughter. Some of us are sisters and mothers. There are so many common threads that connect us as women. Let's celebrate our similarities AND our differences and remember we are all in this together.
4) Cultivate Friendships, Not Rumors
Don't be that woman who talks about other women behind their back. Be true and authentic. What if instead of talking gossip about someone, you just called her? If it's gossip you've heard being dished around, then maybe she needs a friend. If you've got an issue with a woman, be brave and authentic enough to say it directly to her and not through someone else. Wouldn't it be a nicer world if we taught young girls to do this and we did it, too?
5) Girlfriends Are Good For You
Our girlfriends have been scientifically proven to be good for easing stress and making us feel better! If you have a squad of women who lift you up or just one bestie who keeps you grounded, count yourself lucky. Research has shown that being with our girlfriends creates oxytocin in the body, which feels good and soothes anxiety. This is also thought to offset the negative effects of stress. A good girlfriend will get you through the hardest of times of your life and be there when you're celebrating the best. Keep them close and love them up. They're irreplaceable.
As women, being nurturers and caretakers runs deep in our DNA. We do it for our families but when we do it for each other, we're a force of nature. There's a palpable energy capable of changing the world when we empower women with love and support. That's our mission at HSFT, share the love, spread the vibe. Live. Love. Wear. Share. And celebrate women! It's that easy.
