  • Join The Party - Be An HSFT Woman

HAVE SOME FUN TODAY - We're a tribe, of sorts. A squad, a posse, a collective community. We're connected as much by what makes us different as what makes us the same. We're movers and shakers, designers and artists, writers and thinkers, and glass ceiling breakers. We're all someone's daughter and someones friend, some of us are moms and wives, sisters and aunts. We're creators who were inspired to create something that inspires others. #hsftwomen

    You Can Be HSFT

Wanna join us? HSFT women like to laugh, take the road less travelled and share love. An HSFT woman smiles a lot, with a twinkle in her eye. She says yes to adventure and something new. She's confidence and grace; and grateful for the everyday magic. It's in her soul.

We think you might have the stuff HSFT women are made of.... Sure, you can wear our amazing t-shirts, hatstotes and clutches that are the perfect daily pep talk so you never forget to Have Some Fun Today. But the HSFT philosophy is free.

    Pop-Up, Party, & Positive Vibes

We wanted to create something that changes the world; a vibe of positivity and love that keeps us looking for the glass half full. Our shirts, hats, hoodies, and gifts are designed to share the vibe. You can host an HSFT party and share the goodness with friends in your home OR join us at one of our HSFT Pop-Up Shops or our in-Studio Events.  Life is what you make it, so make it FUN. #hsft

  • Raising Women - Brittany Decker

HAVE SOME FUN TODAY - In our series "Raising Women", we've put the focus on what it means to parent girls to become amazing women. But we are also celebrating what it means to "Raise Women" in our community, as in lifting them up, acknowledging them, helping them, supporting them, and being an advocate for all women. Today we feature HSFT woman Brittany Decker.

Brittany Decker is the poster girl for Community Involvement. With 3-year-old twins and a teenage son at home, to say she is busy is an understatement. Spend any amount of time with her and you get the feeling that's the way she likes it. She and husband Jonathan both believe in the importance of giving back with their volunteer efforts. "I volunteer to make our community a better place for our children and to help the non-profits that are doing so much to help everyone."

    Girl Power

She is currently the vice president of community development for The Junior League of Reading and they have created programs to help empower young girls. One such program is the Young Women's Summit held in the spring in the Reading School District. A four day leadership program aimed at girls between 11-14, they work on issues like self esteem, building confidence and facing the challenges many of the girls deal with at home. Brittany describes it as eye-opening and inspiring. "Some of the things they deal with on a day-to-day basis are horrific. Abusive parents, not having a safe home to live in or not enough food. And they want to learn how to move forward in life and be a better person, even with their circumstances."

    Making a Difference

Brittany will be the president of the Reading Junior League in 2018. She also is currently the president of the Leadership Berks Alumni Council, the restaurant committee chair for Opportunity House Souper Bowl event, and event assistant at Habitat for Humanity. Whew! That may be more exhausting than the 3-year-old twins, but she does it all with a megawatt smile and gracious heart while truly living the Have Some Fun Today philosophy.

When it comes to supporting women around her, Brittany believes you "raise them up" by just being there. "I think it means being a great friend and that encompasses being there through the good and bad and reaching out and supporting them in the highs and lows."

    We couldn't agree more.

  • HSFT Founder Stephanie Taormina, her mom Elaine, sister Joselle, and sister Suzy at HSFT Studios.

HAVE SOME FUN TODAY - It started with four words on a t-shirt, words near and dear to our founder's heart, but what happened along the way is that we discovered a community of people who got it. They got our vibe and the essence of HSFT. Those four words are a mindset. A philosophy. A little slip of paper in the fortune cookie of life. HAVE SOME FUN TODAY. It's a call to action to make your life FUN, even in the most mundane of moments. The Law of Attraction is pretty simple. You get what you give, so why not give positivity and possibility. Why not Have Some Fun Today?

We're a company with soul. Yeah, we make great t-shirts, totes, and gifts emblazoned with those four words, but it's become so much more than that. As we grow and expand the business, so too, does our community and our collective inspiration. And we've become this beautiful patchwork quilt of all these HSFT people and experiences that are re-defining what we are everyday. You could say it's taken on a life and breath of it's own.

Wanna join our HSFT tribe? It's simple really. Be Adventurous. Smile More. Be Grateful. Be Confident. Spread Happiness. You can buy our luxe t-shirts, cool trucker hats other HSFT gear, but the magic of HSFT is that the mindset is free.

You're Dressing Up As Sleek and Sexy

It may be a night for kids to dress up as ghosts and goblins, but it's the perfect night for you to dress-up our fabulous Black and Gold Foil slouchy Have Some Fun Tonight tank for a some adult FUN. For drinks with friends or a date night with your favorite zombie, the trick is to find just the right statement pieces. We are kind of obsessed with the new Lisa Oswald collection for Sorrelli jewelry. It's the perfect complement of sexy and sparkle for our gold foil tank. Grab a great clutch and your black leather bomber and you're dressed to kill. Dress-up is way more fun when you're an adult.

    Get The Look

We paired our "Have Some Fun Tonight" Gold Foil slouch black tank with our favorite Mother Denim jeans, our workhorse go-to Sam Edelmann black heels from Target (these are fabulous, too!) and added a spritz of Tom Ford's Black Orchid for sleek and chic. Our sparkle and shine accessories from Sorrelli are the perfect pairing with the triple baguette crystal cuff, crystal rhinestone rows cuff ring in gold and the clear crystal delicate chain and charm bracelet in gold. Our choice for the "on fleek" statement necklace is actually Sorrelli's Mixed Metal and Crystal wrap bracelet, which does double duty as the perfect "on fleek" statement necklace.

    Perfect Partners

Our HSFT vibe is all about living life with FUN and friends and spreading the positivity, so we're pretty ecstatic about our two new events with our friends at Sorrelli Jewelry in November! They'll be hosting us for Two Pop-up Shops this month on November 17th, from 12:30 to 5 p.m. at their Allentown store and on Saturday, November 19th from 12-3 p.m. in their Kutztown store. Come check out the sparkle and the HSFT style with us!

  • HAVE SOME FUN TODAY  is a way of life, a state of mind and a philosophy that we live each and every day. Four simple words govern the way we do things and how we see the world around us.

    Live it, Love it

HSFT means living boldly and loudly and looking at life with a little more curiosity and charm. It’s tapping into that magical place that allows us to think outside the box. It’s saying “Why not?” to life instead of “Why?” and it’s living in the moment, right where we are. There are no do-over or second chances, this we know for sure. You get this one life and we believe you ought to live it.

    Humble Beginnings

Two years ago, our founder Steph Rado Taormina, began HSFT with those very principles. The death of her beloved father and four simple words that he lived by, “Have Some Fun Today”, inspired her to combine her creativity and his mantra and create the company HSFT.

HAVE SOME FUN TODAY. That’s exactly what we intend to do and we think you should, too. Live, Love, Wear, Share. Spread the love and help us start a movement. #hsft

  • Liz Cantalamessa is a list-maker. Packing for vacation or presenting to a client, no matter the size of the task, she's a woman who likes a game plan. Long before her career in sales and marketing took her to Facebook, she was a girl who liked order and organization. "I never had a messy bedroom as a kid. For me, I need order and organization before I can get things done. At my job, that transcends into the business planning." Her job at Facebook is to serve as a US Agency Partner, where she manages one of the big six media holding companies and their relationship with Facebook and Instagram. "What that means is I act as the primary liaison, internal advocate and thought leader for my external agency partners," she says. She says the best part of her job is the camaraderie and the collaboration she is exposed to daily. "I work with some really smart people, clients included, and learn from them every day." She's a proud Penn State alum and last spring, returned to her alma mater to guest lecture at the Business School. She has plans to do it again this fall. A working mom who strives for balance between her job and family, she lives in Westchester County, NY with husband Mike and their 8-year-old son Dylan.

What is your personal Mission Statement?

As a working mother, I believe in work/ life “integration” so that I’m a present wife and mother when I’m home, and a present employee when in the office. The notion of “balance” can be tricky. I strive to lead a fulfilling life both in and out of the office. I also believe in paying it forward. To me that means sharing what I have, whether it’s my time, information or resources.

What inspires you to create the life you live?

Living and working in New York is pretty inspiring. I take the train to the city and arrive in Grand Central Station daily which happens to be one of my favorite NYC landmarks. Looking up at that gorgeous ceiling brings a smile to my face as I start my day. At Facebook we consider our work environment to be a high performance culture. I think the same applies for working in NYC. It’s such a fast paced city that it pushes you to be the best you can be. And then there’s the obvious – my family inspires me every day. I didn’t create this life alone. I have a phenomenal partner who shares my same vision.

Do you use any daily disciplines or practices to energize you?

Not really – maybe we can skip this one ;-)

What is the one piece of advice or words of inspiration you live by?

There are several (many of which I’ve learned from my employer):

    Be Bold

Plan the work and work the plan

    Done is better than perfect

    Pay it forward

I also try to differentiate between a problem and a “luxury” problem. Delayed flight? Rainy day on vacation? That’s a luxury problem. I really try my best to keep things into perspective. I’ve got it pretty good.

What helps you Have Some Fun Today - each and every day?

I’m a planner and list maker (note the “plan the work and work the plan” concept above), so I love having things to look forward to. That might be something as simple as shopping for ingredients of a new recipe I’m going to try out on my family, scheduling a lunch date with a friend or planning a fun getaway with my husband.
