How to Make a Healthy Morning Smoothie - HSFT Style

Good Morning, Beautiful

Skip the to-go coffee and granola bar you've been calling breakfast and think about what you put into your body first thing every morning. Breakfast is literally what the word says it is, -a breaking of the fast. You've just given your body and digestion 6-8 hours of rest and what you put in it to start your day is EVERYTHING. It can change how you feel, how you look and your overall health. At HSFT, our morning smoothie fills us up, nourishes us inside and out, and leave us ready to HAVE SOME FUN TODAY!

Food for the Soul and Glow

It's no secret that beauty and health go hand-in-hand. Giving our bodies the right foods can be a game changer. And if you're gonna HFST, then you've gotta polish your shine!

We change up our smoothies from day-to-day, depending on what's on hand. Right about now, our summer harvest is giving us plenty of fresh fruits and veggies galore, so it couldn't be easier. We power-pack our smoothies by adding different supplements and protein power. Today's supplement powder, Mucuna Pruriens is a legume called the Velvet Bean. It's an amino acid thought to help create dopamine in the brain, to encourage dynamic brain function, increase sounder sleep, and be a mood lifter. It's nature's "upper". (Please check with your practioner before taking any supplement.) Protein helps offset the natural carbs of the fruit, increases your metabolism and help feed your muscles, bones and blood.

Cheers, Goddesses

Grab your blender, some fresh fruits and veggies and get your glow on from the inside out. Here's to your health!
