Another city I love is Los Angeles, often referred to as the "City of Angels," is a sprawling metropolis known for its diverse culture, beautiful weather, and endless entertainment options. From the beaches to the mountains, LA offers a wide range of activities to suit all interests and budgets. Here are five fantastic things to do in Los Angeles:

1. Venice Beach (Free):

If you want to experience real California style head to Venice Beach for a quintessential LA experience. My favorite street to shop & eat at is Abbot Kinney Boulevard. Filled with all the cool & eclectic brands, new designers & healthy eating spots you may have seen on your IG feed. Stroll along the famous Venice Beach Boardwalk, where you'll encounter street performers, vendors, and eclectic shops. Take a leisurely bike ride along the beachfront bike path or try your hand at skateboarding in the Venice Skate Park.

2. Hollywood Boulevard (Free/Paid):

It may be akin to 42nd street in NYC, but it’s worth a walk down the iconic Hollywood Boulevard, where you can see the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Grauman's Chinese Theatre. If you're willing to spend a bit, consider taking a guided tour of celebrity homes or the renowned Universal Studios Hollywood for a behind-the-scenes look at movie-making. Getting a driving tour of famous celebrity homes is pretty fascinating and certainly a fun thing to do!

     3. Griffith Observatory (Free):

I must say that for all the time I have spent in LA, I have yet to visit The Griffith Observatory, so it’s still on my bucket list. I hear the panoramic views of the city and the stars at the Griffith Observatory are amazing. This landmark offers free public telescopes and engaging astronomy exhibits. Hike the nearby Griffith Park trails, including the famous Griffith Observatory hike, for a bit of exercise, breathtaking vistas and having some fun!

      4. Museums and Art Galleries (Free/Paid):

One of my favorite things to do anywhere and especially in Los Angeles is to enjoy the vibrant art and culture scene. Visit the Getty Center, a world-class art museum with amazing architecture with free admission. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) features diverse art collections, and you can explore Urban Light, the iconic installation of street lamps, outside. For contemporary art, check out The Broad in downtown LA. And take in the current exhibition.

        5. Beach Cities and Coastal Drive (Free):

For the past 25 years I’ve had the opportunity to spend time visiting my sister & brother who live in Manhattan Beach. These beautiful beach cities along the Pacific Coast Highway, include Santa Monica, Malibu, and Manhattan Beach. I love experiencing the culture of these small & vibrant communities. Enjoy sun, sand, and surf at the beaches or take a scenic drive along the picturesque coastline. Don't forget to stop for a meal or a refreshing drink at one of the beachside coffes.Truly a great way to Have Some Fun!
